The hotel was incredibly beautiful, exceptionally nice room. Booked a room with great shower. The location was PARTICULARLY GOOD, short walk from Shosuitei.

Stunningly beautiful hotel located in a shopping area very close to the subway station. Big room with great shower and with a lot of space. Excellent location, just walking distance from everywhere. Also, easy to get to Kyoto International Manga Museum. Nice design, excellent service in the entire venue.

The location of the hotel was superb, right next to a subway station, making it convenient to explore Kyoto. My room was clean and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a wide selection of high-quality food. The hotel also had washing machines, although they were in high demand and required an early start to secure a spot. The gym was well-equipped for a hotel and I enjoyed using it during my stay. I had a great experience at Hyatt Place Kyoto and would recommend it to others.

One minor inconvenience was the limited availability of the laundry facilities. With only three combo washer/dryers, it was a challenge to secure a spot, especially during peak times.

I loved my room - big with great shower. Glad to have a safe, multi-channel TV, and a mini fridge bar...

Good value, room was comfy, staff were very very helpful. Rooms with great shower had a family atmosphere. It was nice to find coffee & tea making machines and a refrigerator. The location was good, close to Kunjyukan.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Place for a few nights during my trip to Kyoto. The hotel's facilities were impressive for a 3-star property, with spacious rooms that had plenty of power plugs and USB ports. The breakfast had a great selection and high quality, and the design and overall vibe of the hotel were excellent. The location was perfect, right next to a subway station, and there were plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The hotel also offered a convenient luggage transfer service and had a well-equipped gym.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We would come here again if staying in Kyoto. Make sure you stay in the triple room with great shower. Its location is excellent & absolutely perfect, short walk to beautiful temples to see in Japan and the imperial palace.

This hotel is incredibly beautiful, conveniently located right next to the train station, and close to a variety of restaurants and stunning temples, as well as Kunjyukan.

The beds are comfortable with central heating and the rooms are well-equipped with a private safe, flat-screen TV, and a nice bathroom with a bathtub; the staff is friendly and the location is excellent, making it a modern and convenient place to stay.

The nicest place to stay when traveling to Kyoto. Convenient rooms with great shower for hotel guests. Particularly good location, around 4-6 minutes away by foot from Hamaguri-gomon Gate. Very close to Close to several restaurants as well as train station.

At my regular spot, staff help me plan evenings. Perfect fit with Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, bar, restaurant, welcome drink, fitness center. Flat-screen TV, express check-in/out, VIP check-in/out, children's buffet, wheelchair access. No pets or smoking. Easter return guaranteed. Never regret staying.

Pros of our stay: Breakfast was good; although more variety would have been better. The lighting in the breakfast area didn't seem suitable for breakfast, more like for dinner. Our room was reasonably spacious, clean, and the hotel looks quite new. The staff was nice. The hotel has a direct access to one subway line which, needlessly to say, was extremely helpful. The commercial Nespresso machines at the lobby work beautifully 24/7 and it's complementary. The location was very convenient on the subway line but very close and walkable to museums, palaces, shrines, and gardens. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a separate seating space. Great to have easy access to amenities like toothbrushes and hairbrushes which we forgot to pack. Excellent breakfast! The location of the hotel is very convenient, being close to the subway and bus stations. The staff was nice and the room was big. This hotel has 3 laundry machines, which is great, although having 4 or 5 would be even better. our stay was quite impressive and enjoyable.

Hyatt Place Kyoto is my go-to place in Kyoto. The staff helped me find local delivery options. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, and a lovely bar and restaurant. Coming back this weekend for more relaxation and great service.
